Feverishly trying to wrap up all the projects so I can start, well, another big motherfucker of a project.
Issue 2 of SNOWBOARD magazine starts Saturday morning. Lots of dudes are flying in and driving down for the event. Considering how “smooth” the last issue went, I should be looking at another week or so of completely hating everyone involved, no matter how grand or dismal their contribution.

Oh yeah, we’d like to extend a gigantic “Fuck You” to summer and all its . Septembrrr is here and we are ready to be good and cold, all fall long. Plans are being drawn up for the DDC Fall Tour—our second annual—that starts in about 10 days.
Can’t wait to get out on that road.

While we’re on the subject of “fuck you,” we’d like to extend a big ol’ hairy one to George Bush and that pathetic smirk of his. I saw some footage of him “consoling the nation” today—fumbling through words—with that shit-eating grin and down-home, half-ass rhetoric. People are dying in New Orleans. The city is in chaos. A whole city. And we’ve got that monkey addressing the nation, and the world.
My heart goes out to those affected down South.

i can’t wait for someone to put a bullet in that guy’s skull:
“We’ve got a lot of rebuilding to do. First, we’re going to save lives and stabilize the situation. And then we’re going to help these communities rebuild. The good news is — and it’s hard for some to see it now — that out of this chaos is going to come a fantastic Gulf Coast, like it was before.
Out of the rubbles of Trent Lott’s house — he’s lost his entire house — there’s going to be a fantastic house. And I’m looking forward to sitting on the porch. (Laughter.)” - George W. Bush

I think we can bash bush forever and not make any headway - he is a lost cause.
Center your anger and frustration on ‘bureaucracy” (def.: the administration of a government chiefly through bureaus or departmats consisting of UNELECTED officials)…((which means they were APPOINTED - therefore back-tracking to that idiot we call our president)).
………..or, you can center your attention on the people who are still trying to get out, stranded on rooftops or in their attics, so dehydrated and confused………remember the people who were stuck in that Superdome with no water, no plumbing, little provisions handed out sparingly. This is a nightmare we are not prepared for and I don’t feel any one person has the easy solution. We are a nation of too many people; too many poor, too many rich and us poor middle classers working our asses off to support both. We need to help our neighbors. I, for one, am hoping my contributions to the Salvation Army and Red Cross will really go to these victims.
