Saw the Sam Prekop Band last night. Archer Prewitt, Chad Taylor, Josh Abrams and Sam. So good. I was in awe, and completely taken by it. Musicians. No ironic chatter, or haircuts, or flash-in-the-pan hype machine pollitics. Just amazing music. Draplin, you redesigning the site to be non-factory color spec? White with a little grey and maybe orange or red for emphasis? Possibly styling it after the “Thank you for commenting” page? A bit of googling doesn’t reveal anything too explanatory on the style of music made by the Sam Prekop Band; they seem to hit Chicago once in a while, so if I hear the name bandied about I’ll give them a checking.
