Re:volve Apparel Project
A couple years back I was approached by a fella named Joe Tomlinson. Quite a guy: A family man, entrepreneur, outdoorsman, publisher and activist. He was coming from Salt Lake City and needed help launching the Re:volve Apparel Project that would promote Peace through positive messaging on earth-friendly, sustainable materials. What I loved about the project was the overwhelming power of positivity that was attached to it. The phenomena of t-shirt graphics, and how they advertise so many different things to the world is fascinating in itself. People’s chests say many, many things. Our body is a billboard. In a world where folks are more and more inclined to “Say it loud and proud,” here was this opportunity to contribute to a project that might actually make the world a better place. It’s just too easy to make an anti-Bush t-shirt with the guy’s face crossed out or something. I mean, is that really the way to reach people? It divides, mainly. I don’t have that much restraint about the guy elsewhere in my life, but this project was interesting. It challenged me to take a higher road, in the name of positivity. And hell, we can all use that kind of thinking. I’m very proud of these shirts. The idea that they make the world a little better on any level is very inspiring. Thanks, Joe. Go get ‘em, man! Here are the shirts in the music festival setting, fighting the good fight, featured on NotCot.org. T-Shirt Designs
